MRS. JANET A. FOFIE

Janet Ampadu Fofie (JD, MPA, MA, BA) is a Member of the Public Services Commission of Ghana, an attorney by profession and a public policy and administration practitioner. She has been a member of the Public Services Commission for seven years plus, and a practicing attorney since 1994 with extensive experience at the bar in the State of New York, New Jersey in the USA and Ghana. She has extensive academic and practical work experience in the areas of legal and public policy review and analysis. She is a senior public policy analyst and advisor in the area of public services policy making and implementation.

Boards and Committees: Janet Ampadu Fofie has served on a number of boards including: National Accreditation Board, where she was a very active member of a number of committees including, the Appointments and Promotion Committee, Institutional Visits and Monitoring Committee and the Finance and Administration Committee; The Ghana Education Service Council, where she has served as Chairman of the Appointment and Pro motions Committee, a member of the Finance and Administration Committee, Chairman of Ad hoc committees for the review of the Ghana Education Service Act, 506, the Education Act, 778, a member of  Interim Management Committee for the Colleges of Education charged with making policy decisions affecting the Colleges of Education during the transitional to tertiary status, the Ad hoc Committee to review Appointment of Headship of Senior Secondary Schools.

She has served as a member of the National Anti- Corruption Advisory Steering Committee, and as the immediate past Chairman of the Program Steering Committee for the Public Sector Management Training Program at GIMPA.



 

 

 

 

 

MR. ROBERTSON N.A. ALLOTEY

Mr. Robertson Nii Akwei Allotey is a Full-Time Member of the Commission.  He was appointed in 24th December, 2009. Mr. Allotey is a Development Planner and a Career Civil Servant. He has more than three (3) decades of working experience with the Public Service, Private Sector and Civil Service. He was a Lead Team Member of the Civil Service Performance Improvement Programme, from 1998 to 2003 and served variously as the Director, Service Delivery Improvement Programme and Director, Recruitment, Training and Development at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service.

He was the Acting Chief Director for the Ministry of Public Sector Reform before his appointment to the Commission.
