Michael N. Y. Aduahene-Darko (ESQ., IHRMP, MCIM) - Member 1

Michael N.Y. A. Adu-Darko (Esq., MHRMP, MCIM) has been with the PSC since November, 2018. He has a multi-disciplined background and possesses qualifications in Marketing and Law from Ghana and the U.K. Michael has work experience in Marketing, Law, Banking, Academia and Human Resources Management. He’s a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana and UK, the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP).

Michael’s portfolio of roles cuts across the public and private sectors. He has over 15 years’ experience in the Banking sector playing various senior and executive roles in both local and international banks. He’s a practicing lawyer with a background in corporate law. He’s a business development, sales and marketing, business innovation and strategy and compliance specialist. Michael has also been an adjunct lecturer of marketing and law at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Business school. Michael has extensive experience in corporate governance and administration and has served on several Boards.



Dr. Agyemang Frimpong (Member 2)

Dr. Agyemang Frimpong joined the Public Services Commission from GIMPA where he was a Lecturer with the School of Public Service and Governance since 2014. He brings on board a wealth of over 20 years of experience both as a scholar and practitioner of Public Administration. He obtained his PhD degree in Public Administration & Urban Policy at The University of Akron-Ohio, USA where he also lectured as a faculty. He also holds a MA degree in Urban Planning & GIS from the University of Akron-Ohio, USA as well as an MSc in Environmental Engineering & Sustainable Infrastructure from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm-Sweden.

As an academic, Dr. Frimpong primarily taught core courses of Public Administration from the PhD level to the undergraduate level. His industry experience started in Ghana with the Office of Administrator of Stool Lands (OASL) after graduating from KNUST with a degree in Land Economy. Dr. Frimpong is a Monitoring & Evaluation specialist. In between his experience in the academia, Dr. Frimpong had embarked on various consultancy projects for various MMDAs in the area of capacity building training, performance management, technical writing as well as monitoring & evaluation.



Pauline Adobea Dadzawa (Part-time Member)

Pauline Adobea Dadzawa served as a Director of Ghana Cocoa Board and a Commission Member of the Electoral Commission of Ghana for over 14 years and is currently a facilitator of Elections programmes at the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Centre.

She holds a BA Honours degree in French and Spanish and a Master’s degree in Public Sector Management from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). She has held various senior level positions at the National Theatre of Ghana and SOS International as well as the Hospitality and Tourism industry in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She is currently a part time Commissioner at the Public Services Commission of Ghana.
